In June 2026, French consumer prices are expected to increase by 1.8% year-on-year
Over the course of a year, according to the preliminary estimate made at the end of the month, consumer prices are projected to rise by 1.8% in June 2026, following a 2.4% increase in May. This slowdown in inflation is attributed to the sharp decline in energy prices, particularly petroleum products, which are nevertheless expected to remain significantly higher year-on-year (up 11.2% after 16.6%).
