The same fate will await the next one and the next until they grasp the mood of the nation ; it’s no wonder Reform are surging in the polls when you have channel crossings being run like a tourist industry .

The politician who addresses this issue and brings balance , I’m not anti immigration - controlled immigration is the key ; will win the popular vote. It’s that simple .

Second is the welfare system , which is in need of desperate reform .

You can't expect a nation addicted to handouts to vote for less handouts. Just look at the outcry there when Sir Keir tried to tackle the pension Ponzi-scheme.

The electorate are like morbidly obese children bedbound by their parent's overfeeding of them and yet they demand ever more food to which the parent obliges.

For a certain section of the population your first sentence is applicable , that’s what needs addressing . You then went off on a tangent and lost track of rational thought and logic in the second paragraph .

It's roughly 49% of working individuals. It's a significant part of the population. Over 50% of households are receiving.

It's a good analogy too - they've grown fat and entitled from the handouts. It's exactly the pattern that plays out. The only thing I missed out is that it's the productive people cooking in the kitchen and they have to spend even more time cooking for those receiving (they pay about 60% of income tax already).

Ignoring the voters is a modern classic around the world. And if they don't like it we censure them. And if they get upset we arrest them. These idiots are destroying western society.
And if the extremes come along it's all their fault, they created the problems and refuse to fix them.

They want to fix a ponzi scheme welfare system by importing people by the millions. And the crazy left decided the best way to do is with zero control, no borders. But people are to blame there too, they are unwilling to give up on their benefits, even if they are based on hopes and dreams, on a ponzi scheme that is crumbling.
