This line of questioning completely ignores the underlying claim that Iran was weeks away from having a nuclear warhead that could be used far more effectively than placing mines in the channel and forcing cargo ships to pay a massive toll for access.

Would Israel honor, if terms related to Lebanon? Would US honor, if they don't co-operate but competite with their allies? The whole agreement is a lie and just shifts the real problem in time. Real peace goes through negotiations and co-operation, not through military power.
