Trump cursed at Netanyahu in call over Lebanon escalation, sources say
President Donald Trump cursed at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a roughly 15-minute phone call on Monday, multiple sources familiar with the call told ABC News, with the president angered by Israel's escalation in Lebanon and its potential to imperil the administration's ongoing negotiations with Iran. Trump accused Netanyahu of being ungrateful and called him "crazy," sources familiar with the call said. At one point during the tense call, Trump asked Netanyahu, "What the f--- are you doing?" Adding that there is no response yet that is sent to the US on that. There has been so much back and forth on the text/terms of the deal that it is easy to lose track of what is happening. However, the bottom line is that there is still some differences that require sorting out. And that has been the case for well over two weeks already. A reminder on what needs to be agreed between the two sides so that the deal can be signed off: And even then, all this does is to allow for nuclear discussions to take place next. In that lieu, the US is also demanding that Iran provide some baseline promises on nuclear/uranium. The language of it all will be tricky but I wouldn't expect Iran to abide to any "promises" no matter what.
