Warsh is considered a hawk. Expect rates to hold and balance sheet to reduce while full impact/duration of Iran conflict becomes clear. There will be no cuts while inflation is increasing. Deflationary impact of AI is mid-long term speculation.

He was. All you say is right until we are talking about 8 T us debt renegotiation and much more important - 845 B maturity wall in CRE this July. Or you think us banking system can take it? Just as a reminder - 2008 crisis was about 550 billions. So high rates is a killing for us banking sector

Warsh is only considered a hawk because he opposed accommodative policy during the GFC recovery, and threw a fit/resigned over QE. He has stated that he believes AI productivity increases will give the Fed room to cut, which may be true but is speculating and not data driven rate fitting.
