I urge the Prime Minister to do the right thing for the country and the Party and set a timetable for an orderly transition.

What is striking is the fact that they hail from ***all wings** of the party - about a third are centrists, 16 are from the hard left and around 30 from the soft left
It is just symbolic - given the differences of opinion about the timetable the chances of them coalescing around a single candidate are relatively low - but it is a moment
