But, if you remember when NK was on the verge of Nukes, Trump took a sudden detour to visit Kim on the DMZ line and Kim said "What are YOU doing here?" Trump called him rocketman and that was the extent of it.

But with Iran on the verge of nukes it's a little different, because Iran has oil and the US doesn't want them teaming up with the east. Crazy people with nukes is just the excuse given on the news.

That and Russia would likely have to get involved due to the mutual defense treaty they have with NK, and China would have a major hissyfit since they border NK and see NK’s security as essential for its own security
