As of April 20, according to Lloyds List (which is an authoritative publication on the shipping industry), Iran had managed to get 26 vessels through the blockade. Maybe an additional carrier group will prevent more evasion. But so far, I don't think the Iranians have been suffering quite as much as Trump would have us believe.

Particularly open, but no longer a secret, since Iran said they have used the ceasefire to open a new can of weaponed beans to throw at US and Israel.

The article contains a mixture of FACTS and MISTRUTHS mixed together.

The USA navy is sailing from Namibia to the Straight of Hormuz (Fact)
Tyler Durden is a pseudonym used by many reporters. (Fact)
Namibia is next to South Africa. (Fact)
The long route to the gulf is sailing around Africa (Misleading). It is true if you sail around the top of Africa and go though the the Suez canal and through the Bab el-mandab straight. Which the article claims is being avaoided.
If it is avoiding the Bab el-mandab straight / Suez canal, it is taking the SHORTEST route to get to Hormuz by sailing around the Horn or Africa (Fact). If you're not sure have a look at a world map.

Maybe I am not as gullable as some. I don't just automatically think, because it is an article by a reporter, therfore it must be true.
The old saying 'never let the facts get is the way of a good story' is a direct result of reporters twisting the facts to suit their own needs.

That is why I don't trade the news, I trade the charts.
The charts are ALWAYS CORRECT, the news less so, and it is becoming even less reliable, even though they are producing it in ever increasing quantities.

If you are going to trade the news, make sure you can distinguish fact from fiction.

The article has used reputable sources to mis represent the facts.

The article used does not show who the article is being written for (news paper etc, source is important)
