I measured from Bandar Abbas - Iran to the outer edge of the Gulf of Oman, its shy of 600km, which is within Iranian missiles - not diego garcia missiles (stationary targets) but shorter range precision missiles which can reach 2000km, adjust targets mid-flight and use Chinese satellite targeting.

China has neighbors for oil, Russia, but who does the USA have when oil from Canada also flows east and not to the USA. all refineries in the USA are built on sulfurous oil and not the piss that the USA pumps!! The increased sales at inflated prices is helping pay for the war.
Every day Iran doesn't agree, the straight stays closed, Iran looses money and the USA makes more money as the oil price goes up again.

That's why Donald is in no rush.

BTW he has been going around the monopoly board collecting up little countries and their oil. Now he controls the tap and thast will be important in bringing the war in Ukraine to an end by sending Russia broke. I am aware Russia is doing very well out of high oil prices at the moment. It is only going to be a short term sugar hit.

I'm not ruling out it doesn't all turn to shit and oil goes to 147 barrel. That won't make Trumpy move faster, the only thing that will do that is the midterm clock counting down.
