I guess the US delegation in Islamabad can have talks with each other. Iran has no incentive to talk to aggressors who are actively blockading their ports, and they have every incentive to hold back oil, gas and other shipments going through the Strait of Hormuz. Another brilliant strategic move by Trump, who only Friday sent out a flurry of tweets talking about how well negotiations were going. The world is heading towards an economic catastrophe, all caused by two psychopathic narcissists (Donny and Bibi) who couldn't care less as long as they think they can benefit financially and/or politically from the war.

I dont like the word "enabled", I prefer the word legitimized.

Enabled infer they had a choice, its an empire, its gonna empire who ever is put as face.

israhell is not even murikan proxy, its murikan colony, in every sense - they cannot survive 1 week without US support.

Blinken oversaw and armed the whole genocide, trump took over at the end, really very little difference - I would assume Harris would have the same administration as biden beside some new front faces.

If you remove the noise and look at it from a foreign policy and geopolitical perspective, US have moved in a strait and predictable path for over 30 years, independent of who is president.

The parties alternate in their approach, obama the smiling drone killer or trump the obnoxious serial killer

A lot of dems refused to vote for Harris because of what little Biden did for Israel, and now they are harassed for allowing Trump to win and be 1000x worse than Biden ever was.

I'm sure if Harris had won it would have been business as usual but we wouldn't have a war because it would be political suicide.

Its the choice between the lesser evil - If I present you with poisoned apple and poisoned orange, does it matter which one you prefer?

Democracy have always been an illusion and its the reason this illusion, fugazzi being pushed around the world - special interests will eventually subvert the political class - it always does.

They control the money, the media and eventually will control the police and intelligence units.

With the media they can paint a hero as villain and vice versa, with money they can temp unlimited number of candidates - with power and time they can even create their own political characters.

Yes, the votes are real, people do vote in booths, but they mean nothing, since the candidates are vetted.

Democracy can only work in a society were the media is free, central bank acts in its national interests and the elites are competing against each other - not colluding against the people.

I agree it's lesser evil, candidates are rigged, etc, but if Harris had won this war would not have happened and you and I probably wouldn't be talking. The dem party is trending towards Muslims as the new victim class that needs protection and away from the Jewish. Look at the Mayor of NYC.

The only demographic Israel has left is the bible-thumping hillbillies and that's the only reason Trump has high approval among republicans. If Harris had launched the war then she wouldn't have any approval in the dem party nor the reps, a total popularity wipeout. Congress would fight her or suffer the same fate at the polls. There is just no way this war could have happened with Harris.

Israel has been trying to start this war for decades, and they finally found a president dumb enough to do it.

Absolutely, and we can include among them, the US Supreme Court, Congressional Republicans, the US fossil fuel industry, the billionaire-owned media, AIPAC, and all of the other lobbying and interest groups that are either too afraid to stand up to him, or are taking short-term profits through their influence over the orange clown. Honestly, I have little sympathy for whoever voted for him. They will be hit harder than anyone, and they only have themselves to blame.

Well, scotus, congress, etc all comes back to the hillbillies who fell for the con.

If we had IQ tests to vote, none of this could happen. Even a one-question test to prove one knows "you're" from "your" would stop it. Or "who pays tariffs".

Billionaires' money would be useless if the voters couldn't be fooled.

Exactly. Or, what is the capital of France? Or, what is the name of your state Governor? Or, if your father's father had two sons, and each of those sons has two living sons, how many male cousins do you have on your father's side? Nothing politically biased, nothing difficult. Just basic grammar, knowledge and reasoning. And offer free online courses to those who want to make themselves eligible to vote. But people who are unable to name three foreign countries, who are barely literate, who have no interest in current affairs, should not be voting for the POTUS.
