I was reading a report regarding energy crisis in Asia, apparently Asian clients are paying around 220$ per barrel of oil, which is waaay above the market rate.

It seems like there is a discrepancy between digital market price and real price.
- the factors contributing to higher cost is the following:
-- Insurance
-- Security
-- Availability
-- Risk

Which honestly makes sense - this is why many Asian countries like Japan, Thailand, India etc have made deals with Iran - they pay the toll in Yuan, to Chinese banks or Crypto to Iranian wallets and can have their ships pass.

Currently according to Iranian reports: only commercial ships from none aggressive nations are allowed to pass the strait, this excludes Kuwait, UAE and Bahrain - including the usual suspects obviously.

Iran obviously needed the straits opened for a brief period to replenish their munition, until Trump came along and stopped them in their tracks. So now they are flip-flopping on their earlier announcement.
