EUR/USD held near pre-war highs as optimism around a potential US–Iran deal continued to weigh on the dollar. Improved sentiment has supported the euro, keeping the pair close to recent peaks.

However, ECB’s Muller struck a cautious tone, noting that more data is needed before deciding on a rate hike, with June seen as a more decisive month. While an April hike remains possible, the lack of clear second-round inflation effects suggests policymakers are not in a rush.
