    President Trump and his advisers are looking at resuming limited military strikes in Iran in addition to the U.S. blockade of the Strait of Hormuz as a way to break a stalemate in peace talks, according to officials and people familiar with the situation. I'm sure I could find a lot of peoples who if they did what I think is best then they could live in paradise, but it's only my business if it threatens me.

We're sold the idea that Iran having nukes would threaten peace, and that is from the same group of hypocrites who say everyone should be armed because a good guy with a gun stops a bad guy with a gun. If Iran (the bad guy) has nukes (a gun) then the good guys (the US) would assure their complete annihilation if they ever tried to use them.

Mutually assured destruction is the reason no one uses nukes, but having nukes stops other countries from terrorizing. If everyone had nukes the world would likely be very peaceful. But the Pentagon is the largest employer and the war machine needs tax money so we can't afford peace.

Why another limited strike? What exactly is the objective — beyond creating uncertainty and moving the markets in favor of your inner circle?

If the intent is decisive action, then act decisively. Otherwise, the purpose of these half-measures is questionable.
