Why should they leave? Is the Lebanese army so impotent that it cannot fight the Israelis and prevent them from stomping all over the country? Israel has been emboldened by the silence, complicity and lack of retaliation from the world over Gaza.

Lebanese army barely have bullets, it fly's Cessna civilian planes to monitor its skies - its role is to police its citizens, not defend border!

Lebanon have always been hijacked from various forces - initially, Lebanon was supposed to be a vassal against regional countries and it was, the fake Christian forces committed grave crimes against Lebanese women and men, but the heroic men of Jebel Aml (shia Muslims, which my family are related to) managed to take back the country during the 1980s. The Shia in Lebanon have roots in the south, Damascus, Karbala and Mashad in Iran - its called a Shia Crescent or fertile crescent. which is the foundation of Hezballah.

Without Hezballah, Lebanon would probably not exist on the map.
