US and Israel messing around with Brave Nation. Soon whole world will pay the price. The reason gold is sinking that investor are no more interested in investment they know very soon what is gonig to come. Oil jump to 108 just now. Very alarming. The stupidity of US and Isreal world has to pay the price.

Look no further than Gaza to see what Israel is prepared to do. But Trump is probably going to try to rein them in, thinking he can turn off the war like flipping a switch. High on his own supply.

Still no panic in US stocks, & one wonders really what it would take? But, watch the KOSPI and other Asian indices later today. That's where disruption of the ME oil/gas flows really hits.

I think the rest of the investment world is agreeing with that sentiment right now as well. Everything is hinging on what Iran does "next".

The FED announcement was already a wildcard today with the "unknown" inflationary pressure that high oil prices will bring. No ideas how high and for how long. Rate cut expectations for the end of 2026 on this news.

The metals are really taking notice now. The dollar isn't up enough to justify the roll off in gold. So, the asset that is supposed to outperform in times of high interest rates and geopolitical risk is falling.

Dollar up.
Softs (wheat/corn) up.
Equities down.
Bonds down.
Equities down.
Metals down.
Crypto down.

/VX is still in contango.

It's going to be a wild afternoon as the FED is going to push this whole thing over the edge, or the be savior.

If the market is lower at the end of the day, Trump will scream "Look at the market, if the FED should have cut rates and it would be up!"....or, if higher, he will say "look at how our strategy in Iran is working, the markets love it...Powell should have cut rates".

Bringing Iran to its knees would never work, and until yesterday I still had hopes for a de-escalation of this conflict. Now, one can expect that the Gulf countries will be severely harmed, and this will affect the entire global economy.
