Japan asked US not to disadvantage Tokyo under new tariff rules
Japan has sought assurances from the U.S. that Tokyo will not be put at a disadvantage under Washington's latest tariff measures, urging that a potential 15% tariff not be applied to Japanese goods, its trade minister said on Friday. Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Ryosei Akazawa said he made the request during a two-hour meeting in Washington with U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick. Akazawa briefed reporters after the meeting. Iran, which is being beat to HELL, has apologized and surrendered to its Middle East neighbors, and promised that it will not shoot at them anymore. This promise was only made because of the relentless U.S. and Israeli attack. They were looking to take over and rule the Middle East.
