German GDP: detailed results on economic performance in the 4th quarter of 2025
The gross domestic product (GDP) rose by 0.3% in the 4th quarter of 2025 compared with the 3rd quarter of 2025 after adjustment for price, seasonal and calendar variations. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that this confirms the result published in the first release of 30 January 2026. "2025, a year of economic ups and downs, therefore ended with an increase in economic output", said Ruth Brand, President of the Federal Statistical Office.
