US wholesales inventories up 0.2% in November
Wholesale inventories in the United States advanced by 0.2% in November compared to the previous month's revised figures, reaching $915 billion, the US Census Bureau said in a report published on Thursday. The reading was 1.8% higher on a yearly basis from the same month of the year prior. Sales of merchant wholesalers, adjusted for seasonal variations and trading-day differences but not for price changes, came in at $714.1, rising 1.3% from October's revised numbers, and up 5.2% from the year before.
