German gross domestic product up 0.2% in 2025
According to first calculations of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the price adjusted gross domestic product (GDP) in 2025 was 0.2% higher than in the previous year. The increase in economic performance in Germany amounted to 0.3% after adjustment for calendar effects. "After two years of recession, the German economy edged back into growth.
