Greenland’s PM has a blunt message for Trump: We choose Denmark over the U.S.
Greenland Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen said on Tuesday that the Arctic island chooses Denmark over the U.S., pushing back against Donald Trump’s repeated takeover threats. “If we have to choose between the USA and Denmark here and now, we choose Denmark. We choose NATO, the Kingdom of Denmark and the EU,” Nielsen said, according to translated comments reported by Danish public broadcaster DR.
