German Inflation rate of +1.8% expected in December 2025
The inflation rate in Germany is expected to be +1.8% in December 2025. It is measured as the change in the consumer price index (CPI) compared with the same month a year earlier. Based on the results available so far, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that consumer prices are unchanged (0.0%) compared with November 2025. The annual average inflation rate is expected to stand at +2.2% in 2025.
