Me: Recessions are actually not bad. On contrary, recessions are natural and good for people. Why? In every recession (which is nothing but a natural correction of inflated bubble) currency returns its purchasing power. Yes people get laid off, but hiring comes back after some time. Home prices fall to levels that are normal once again. Not having a recession is what is bad. These inflationary periods central banks are creating is what is bad as they don't allow for this natural correction to take place, making everyone's lives worse. Wages never follow inflation.
