So there is no need to define win.

What Ukraine has always sought is to successfully defend its territory from the aggressors.

Should Russia scamper away like a bunch of sorry stiffs, Ukraine, together with its allies, has successfully defended Ukrainian territory.

In this scenario, 'winning' has nothing to do with flags on a map.

The real winners are the shareholders of the military-industrial complex, for whom this war is a multi-billion-dollar contract.

Meanwhile, Europe 'wins' a demographic catastrophe—a lost generation of its youth, replaced by mass immigration to prop up an aging continent.
If that's 'winning,' it's a hollow victory that only benefits the merchants of death.

Ukraine will not win the war it didn't start. Russia will lose the war it started and will fail to achieve any of the objectives (which btw are changing all the time). Russia will collapse from within.
