The United States has an appetite to strike critical minerals deals with Australia, but without involving China in the supply chain, a policy expert has said. Hayley Channer from the US Studies Centre (USSC) has described a formal meeting between Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and US President Donald Trump in Washington, DC, next week as "critical".
