Good article. I may have said at least once here that it is as if China were playing chess. It thinks about 10 or 20 years ahead, carefully and quietly manoeuvring itself into a position where it cannot lose.

No comment on how far Trump and Vance etc can think ahead. They are like angry horny bulls trying to get through a locked gate.

This might be a guess, but I suspect that observation is made from a Western perspective.
