    There was a considerable slump in the UK construction sector at the start of the third quarter. According to the latest S&P Global PMI® survey data, total industry activity levels fell at the steepest pace since May 2020. Underlying data highlighted marked decreases in volumes of work carried out across all three monitored sub-sectors, but a considerable drag came from a fresh drop in residential building. Great !

Tell you what, why don’t we take another green belt area and allow planning permission to build 100,000’s houses on so we can house the ever increasing population .

Slowly but surely this beautiful island will be another concrete jungle to appease the building lobby and politicians. The entire GDP is based on the service sector and building houses. There’s no coherent policy from either side how to tackle the population explosion .
