    Moody’s Analytics chief economist Mark Zandi said the U.S. economy is “on the precipice of recession,” citing indicators from last week’s economic data releases. In a social media post Monday, Zandi pointed to stagnant consumer spending, contracting construction and manufacturing sectors and projected employment declines. The US stock markets have become top-heavy in a very short list of names that are riding the AI/cloud computing wave. They do business with each other mostly. The actual econmy could go into recession and the indices could continue to rally. Will the AI revolution spread down the chain and benefit more and more publically-traded companies? Or will there be a crash of all the rosy dreams? Widespread adoption of AI could eliminate 100's of millions of jobs? What happens to consumption-driven economies when nobody's working anymore? It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out over the coming decades. Meanwhile, just btfd....

yes we may see the recession in 2026 but there is the highly chance for the rate cut in september so we may see the pumping in stocks , crypto etc etc and there are the multiple resons for te recession and as well as for the rate cuts

Economists have called 30 of the last 3 recessions. Literally every single year you have people calling for a recession and/or a stock market crash. These people are just wrong, not a single one of them has a proven track record of correct calls. We are currently in a teflon stock market, nothing right now can make it go down, accept that, profit off it as long as you can until your chart shows a change.

It is amusing how angry you are. Only reason to be angry is you are losing money as a trader, or in your case a pretend trader. Maybe go back to beating your wife and kids in your dirt hovel of a home instead of posting idiocy online.

For those that aren’t idiots, ignore what almost everyone here says, I have yet to see actually useful posts in the news section, just losers angry at their losing trades who hate their lives. Your chart contains everything you need to know. Only very experienced and very careful traders can trade against the trend, so don’t bother trying. In an uptrend buy the dips, in a downtrend sell the rips, and always use a reasonable stop no matter what.
