In July 2025, French consumer prices increase by 1.0% year-on-year
Over one year, according to the provisional estimate made at the end of the month, consumer prices would increase by 1.0% in July 2025, as in June. Energy prices would decrease at a faster pace than in the previous month due to a base effect on gas prices (they had increased sharply in July 2024). Those of manufactured goods would decrease at the same pace as in June. Conversely, food and service prices would accelerate slightly.
