But I’ll go on record saying I’m very concerned about the deficit and debt, long term. Doesn’t matter to the market today or tomorrow, but eventually DC is going to have to face the debt. But as traders we have no idea when that day eventually comes, so in the meantime just look at your charts.

Please note that everybody is concerned with the size of the national debt that is about 130% of GDP (Japan's have been 250% for decades) and it is expected to grow by estimated nearly $4 trillion over the next decade.

BUT, what even the opponents of the president's policies admit is that there is another side to it: Namely, the GDP growth that is expected, but not accounted for in this equation, as a result of Trump's policies.

So you allow that there is a solution.

But there is a more important fact you need to be conscious of: I have said many times that Americans would be best advised to relax, smell the roses, fire the therapists and enjoy their good fortune of being born and live in the most democratic, most free and the richest country of the world with the standard of living never seen on Earth before.

I get every week email advertising a website called "Economic Crisis" with articles such as "Is the US Close to Economic Catastrophe?"

This is a farce! The US is the richest country of the world. Such decadent, dilettante lack of understanding of the science of economics is laughable.

I trust you do not subscribe to this school of thought. Some do, in this country and abroad. For instance, the Hungarian press is reporting that based on information emanating from the US, 53% Hungarians believe that our national economy is on the ropes and will collapse soon. The poor souls have the standard of living that is 45% of our standard of living.......

Well, at least we can be sure it won't go to buying new panties for the Democrats or funding the green scam. Whether it will be wasted or not, only time will tell. And yes, every time taxes and regulations are cut, there's always growth in terms of GDP.
And "that growth is not doing any good"? If your debt keeps growing, you'll appreciate every extra dollar added to GDP. Growth is always good. The effect it has on deficits is a different matter.

Will the supposed growth help to cut deficits and maybe repay some of the debt? if not then what? Debt-to-gdp may decrease but if deficits and debt continue to grow then that growth is not doing any good.
