I've been complaining about this for years. I assume there's a monetary reason FF owners went with it, but not sure. I have moved to Reddit, where the mods are generally better, and there's more variety in trading threads.

I am assuming you are asking about Reddit? There they have subreddits or threads that target many different things. A few of the ones I look at for trading are below, but there are I'm sure more that I've not explored:

It's just like all social media, there's a lot of crap that you might have to weed through, but I have found some very good traders posting regularly, on a lot of topics that never appear here on FF. The mods are active. Even I, the nicest person in the world, have been banned from a thread or two.

Well I'm not sure what that means. Reddit is a big site and there are places on it for everyone, I guess. I try to avoid the overtly political stuff, myself. Because it's all been said before anyway, so is just boring. There are fun threads about digital nomading & travel, side hustles, growing old, etc etc. So of course it's a much bigger site than FF.

Re: trading, there are lots more traders talking about a lot of different kinds of trading. Some industry pros posting regularly and very savvy amateurs, also. And, of course, lots of noobs, but that's ok. The mods are active and will outright ban anyone who is openly and repetitively hostile.

I've been on FF for 15+ years and still post here out of habit. It'd be nice to see some changes, some growth. Not like I'm all that worked up about it, though. Easy enough to go elsewhere.

Reddit was once a very good forum full of people with above average intelligence that questioned everything. Now, it's an echo chamber for the npcs.
