sincere condolences to the britons and all citizens of the commonwealth here for your big loss.

being non of the mentioned above, to me she was not only a symbol but an icon for the best of the uk.
can anyone here name a politician that kept his promise given so many years ago, to serve the people to her/his last day of life? just two days ago she appointed the new prime minister, and while watching the appointment, i said to my wife: "watch her, she´s looking happy!" (regardless of what one might say about truss). after this, she layed down to die, knowing she had given her best till the end.

watching bbc all day long yesterday, i learned that she drank a gin every day, i think it was tanqueray. so i´ll have the same one now.

you will be missed. R.I.P.

Even many hours after the news confirmed her passing, I can't really find the right words to express my gratitude for her service, duty, steadfastness, humanity and moral compass nor the sadness that her ever-presence has ended. There have been some great tributes by people who we all know, who knew her well and who are far better equipped with the skill of hitting the spot with words.

When people from all spheres, leaders and politicians from around the world all considered it an honour to be able to meet her. were never disappointed and reminisced so positively of their experiences in her company, then you know we've lost something really significant, the like of which may never be repeated.

She really was a true icon. She will never be replaced, always be loved the world over. We wont see the likes in generations, no one can fill her shoes. NO ONE

She received Boris to accept his resignation. an hour later she received Liz to appoint a new Government
Think about that for a bit !!

This Lady - our Queen had been frail and under medical supervision for some time. If you look at the photo of her shaking Liz Truss hand you might notice the back of her hand being purple. IV drip. How bad must she have felt but she still got up and put on a smile to do her duty. What a woman - we will never see her likes again.

I use "Rise" as her diginity and moral compass surpasses tons of politicians that they should be learning from.

I trade too, but in time such as this - the last of my humanity remains will stand over any trading profit!!!

Anyway, I'm not here to tell you what and what not to do, its your freedom of choice - just the timing is imo pathetic.
