Meeting separately with the ministers in Weissenhaus, northern Germany, Hayashi also affirmed their close cooperation toward a "free and open Indo-Pacific," according to the Japanese Foreign Ministry, in an apparent reference to efforts to counter China's growing economic and military clout in the region. The G-7 nations have been building an international coalition against Moscow that launched ... (full story)

And next will come greater unity against China, and not only from Japan,

There are other thug nations in the world, but none are as brutal, as loathsome, as dangerous than China and Russia. Even North Korea is just a "wannabe".

The world is coming to a time of great decisions, from dealing with corporate greed, disparity of compensation for real measurable work done, loopholes for the layback rich, and nations run by slave mongers and murderers.

Very true. Yet pretty much every country has an historic stain (some much more than others) on their Human Rights etc record. I am not saying forget but we can only really judge a country by the current leadership or should we forever hold them to account for the actions of their forefathers? If so at what point do we draw the line - 100, 500, 1000 years?

There is no need to cast judgement by anyone, their current actions and behavior speaks for themselves. The annual Yasukuni Shrine worship by each japanese pm is clear.

As for the rest of the western countries, we are just as bad as russia in many ways even to this current day.
