Trump is losing the coming election and needs some foreign tension. It may be his last trick not to lose. He’s playing with fire tho. Can be either Iran or China.

Some kind of National Security threat.
If followed up by other consulate closures the split with China would be viewed as Rupture and not just friction.

add: these are momentum markets a strong move as consequence not to be discounted.

Doesn’t matter what you think really, especially when you do not reside in the us and don’t know the nuances of the us election.

Is that just wishful thinking or do you actually have real evidence to back it up? And don't point me to polls. Polls are not absolute nor reliable.

Hilary won the popular vote by a decent margin, its not like trump had a landslide so in that case the polls were correct.

This is a forum to express opinions and his was that Biden won't beat trump. You don't have a clue whether this individual understand the electoral process or not . FWIW what you think doesn't matter either.

Such a stupid comment. Based on Your comment’s logic I also expressed my opinion. And my opinion was if someone is not even residing in the US they don’t know the nuances of us election. The same applies to you that FWIW what you think doesn’t matter either.
Next time don’t express the obvious and think you are smarta$$ lol.

Your post reveals your stupidity, just because someone doesn't live in the US doesn't mean they don't know the nuances. You aren't expressing an opinion you are stating what you believe to be a fact. Also I wasn't trying to be a smart ass I was just pointing out your error. Fact of the matter is most americans don't know jackshit about the election process among other things.

Yeah tell me about that lol. What’s wrong with you? Go get some help. Generalizing most Americans are clueless while they are the single super power of the world is absurd and tells a lot about your lack of knowledge. I have lived in 5 developed countries including UK, Japan and France. Each more than 5 years. Have three passports. Voted in 3 three countries elections. Have my PhD from an Ivy League school, etc. and someone like you come out of blue and express your smarta$$ opinion. Go get some help troll. Won’t reply to you anymore, it’s waste of time.

They didn't say she was going to win the popular vote did they? They said she had over 90% chance of being the president It's a bit like Labour in UK claiming that "We lost the election but still Won the argument!".

either way my point was that it was a close race not a landslide so it was more difficult to call rather than an easy pick. I do agree that polls are often inaccurate and probably manipulated at times.

We've seen this story countless times before.

-Media headlines of a weaker dollar
-Dollar gets materially weaker for a few weeks/months.
-Then out of nowhere a sudden rush of demand for $.

This has been repeated many times before
