There are many countries that were not interested in keeping much of a gold reserve, but are now buying up gold to hedge risk on their dollar reserves. A good example is my country Kenya which had a depleted gold reserve, but lately we have been buying up gold despite our heavy dollar denominated external debt. This is getting WILD. The move I was expecting for tomorrow happened right before market close in under 15 minutes +600 points, so now I am completely lost to finish the week.
