Disliked{quote} Those gaps can be rather gambling this days.. specially when the people "prepare" for it in advance It was much better when we could somewhat trade during the weekend, at least in some markets at some brokers... they widened the spread so much that there was almost no interest for it, but one could see the biggest moves... (remember US AAA downgrading, during weekend, anyone .. Overall I would say the GOLD goes UP... gap or not I used to trade GAPS btw.. not so anymore due to rather gambling for mentioned reasons......Ignored

Disliked{quote} When trading gaps works 80%-90% most of the time then it's not gamblingIgnored
DislikedAnd right now XAU on the 4hr chart smells like melting down to 1495?, 1480? lower? Nobody knows..... And if you know, tell me {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} I'm not sure how you guys trade gaps but I trade it after the gap not before so if the price opened on Sunday night high I will sell it until it fills the gap and vice versa if the gap opened low... so for example, yesterday night I sold Gold around 1508x after the market opened high... for that I said it's not gambling LolIgnored
Disliked{quote} Well sounds interesting and.................. .............I will never trade gaps over the weekend: imagine an Iranian, Israeli or terrorist BLACK SWAN event.... I will we wiped out like with the CHF in Jan 2015 when the support EURCHF 1.20 was taken out by the Swiss Central bank. Sounds pessimistic, perharps, but I want to remain a minimum in charge of events?Ignored

Disliked{quote} Seesm to be melting a little yes... but markets are ins tall again.. which GOLD market do not like So I would not draw any conclusions before the end of this week... Would wait for this potential slide.. and then would be buying again.. I mean, depending on the ones leverage.. but I feel very comfortable buying gold bellow 1500.. its almost nobrainer atm... At least for this month, for future months we will see what they will prepare for us at the end of the month FED party etc...Ignored
DislikedNot checked in for a while here on the old gold, 1440 over next few weekIgnored

DislikedSo to sum up... buying hold below 1500? Anytime! With what leverage? Not high atm! But this might improve in the next weeks...Ignored
