Can I ask for a reason that the spread for GBPJPY has been so large all day today (1st March) since the Asian session start and until now 11am UK. For the past 12 hours the GBPJPY MT4 spread has consistently been 1 - 2 pips larger than 3 other ...

Hey Mr Josh Really like all your chart analysis. You have a simple but logical approach. May I ask how many pairs you watch or trade? You have posted charts for EURUSD CHFJPY & USDJPY recently - do you watch all 3 simultaneously? Or maybe ...

Quoting from post 8907 by Vitek-ftmo -- Hello Silverau, you might spot a slight change in spreads due to momentary settings of our Liquidity Providers which, unfortunately, we do not have control over since the change in the spreads is subjected to ...

In my post #8882 I was referring to the FTMO spreads all day being wider (compared to ICMarkets etc) whereas Moongirl said "spreads are accurate in trading hours like prime brokers" which is not correct (i.e. the spreads are not like prime brokers)

Hello Moongirl, Most of your comments seem to be OK. However the comment that says "The spreads are accurate in trading hours like prime brokers" may not be correct. I have accounts with 3 other brokers and the FTMO spreads are mostly wider than all ...

Hi Billy, with the Cable 4 hour trades, do you enter as soon as there is a break of the bar (at any time once the bar has closed) OR do you wait for the range break from 7am UK (8am Frankfurt)? Many thanks, Alan

May I make a suggestion here to possibly improve the MM lines? Maybe only draw those lines from points that occur in higher volume trading times/sessions? Plus the larger pivots/turns Those points likely represent places where there is higher volume ...

I have known George for over 6 months now and I can say that he has never asked for anything in return from me, except for my listening & understanding He does not have any courses for sale nor are any proposed in future George merely wishes to help ...

HI FxCyborg, Many thanks for disclosing such a great simple method. In post #1 for a BUY setup you say "The Bull bar's low (2nd bar) must be lower than the Bear Bars low (1st bar)." How many pips (or partial pip) must the 2nd bar be below the 1st ...

Hi Kamarul Sometimes the opening gap is not filled on the same day. For example, 12th November 2018 Monday opening gap on GBPUSD was not filled until Tuesday US open (approx) See attached screenshot (15 minutes chart) In the meantime price action ...

re post #11001 by AndresSR Maybe AndresSR was referring to the fact that the NZDUSD trade entered (see post #8747 for entry confirmed as "short order filled") had price action subsequent to entry that resulted in the price rising substantially ...

Yes Sciurus, That is exactly the point that I was making in my earlier posts. In hindsight/backtesting the signals look straightforward, but the dtosc values for H4 & H1 change after the backtesting M15 set-up bar has closed and may change for a M15 ...

Hi Anjanbabu Thank you for your reply. You may have misunderstood my observation. In the chart I circled the last 4 bars (in yellow) and I was suggesting that if those 4 bars were removed (i.e. that price action did not occur) and the price action ...

Hi anjanbabu, The multi time frame analysis looks great and I have been testing it all day with great success. I have noted that the DTOSC indicator is constantly re-calculating for the H4 & H1 timeframes when the H4 period & H1 period are not yet ...

But I am talking almost all RED or quarterly news events - not just some. I have the news printouts for over 3 years, and I watch their effect every time. You guys should print out the daily news events and examine them to see. Don't just give your ...

Maybe the "news" items give the needed excuse for the subsequent planned price movements? It seems rather unlikely that anyone could read a news report (e.g. full retail sales report) in 1 second i.e. as soon as news is released; and then react with ...

Are you sure the TDI crossed at the beginning of ALL of those bars that were to be entered as soon as they opened? Maybe a re-check is needed ? Price action probably justifies most of those entries better.
