Trade Idea: USDJPY Sell @ 106.10 SL : 106.40 TP : 105.55 image Price respected the ceiling of what I see as an institutional order area (rectangle in red), so I'm thinking it will range in that area. I'm looking for a retest of that line before a ...

Managed to make a little profit on this trade. Once I made 15 pips in profit, I moved my stop loss to entry, solidified some profit and let the rest ride. But by 2pm I closed out because it started to range. Didn't make it to my first TP before ...

Thanks for the subscription Luiz. I have 3 years of experience, but I'm not profitable yet. I'm hoping that my journey will inspire and educate others. So I'd say trade at your own risk, and if you have any advice for me please feel free to share

It depends actually. Right now I'm thinking I dont want to hold it longer than a day, to avoid roll over chargers and sharp reversals across days and the weekends. But if the market is looking strong in my favour, I'd ride the wave. What I normally ...

On Monday I planned this trade image I planned to sell GBPUSD @ 1.4000 SL : 1.0425 TP1: 1.3960 TP2: 1.3945 TP3: 1.3920 When I entered the trade, I placed my SL at 1.40107. Why did I abandon my plan? I was confident price would go down, and so felt ...

Thanks KeenPips. I usually just look at the monthly once a month, but my daily trading is usually testified to the daily, 4hr and 1hr, with the 15min reserved for precise entries. But I will be giving your suggestion a try though.

Here's a look at NZDUSD with an application of this strategy. So first I draw my quarter points. Use the last high indicated by the fractal, I round the price to the close whole number, 0.88, then mark off three 1000 pip intervals in red, then 500 ...

Yesterday I opened long on the EURJPY. It looked to me that the price had been in a range, and that the price had reached the bottom of the range. It formed a tweezer bottom then and engulfing bull. It gapped high above the MAs then made a hammer ...

Been on a mad losing streak. Just need to be patient and stick to my plan. If anything I think that's why I haven't been having any success.

So as you'll see from my scanner, I closed this trade out with a 123p loss. But that was during morning volatility. Later into the day, the price surged back up to open, meaning and I didn't have to take the L. Two lessons: I should have more ...

Trading long on the GBPAUD. I saw what appeared to be a double bottom on the daily with price bouncing off my mid-quarter line of 1.68, a line which served as support before, and coincided with a gap previously. Stoch momentum had reversed, and the ...

Closed this trade out with approximately 50 pip profit. The strategy suggests that the bullish run could actually continue, however, the profit is significant for me given my history, and taking sizable but quick profits could help me to build my ...

Opened a trade on the EURGBP this morning. Price formed a morning star and bounced at the .8800 which was a large quarter point, that served as a median for previous price moves and a recent support level. Price is currently a large bullish candle ...

Closed this trade with 20p profit. My inference that the price would bounce back up turned out to be correct. I'm still bearish on this pair but awaiting another signal.

Still holding my position on the CADJPY but given its difficulty in crossing the 90.00 support line makes me think the consolidation is going to continue. This week a lot of data is coming out of Canada, so maybe the ranging will continue for this ...

Currently selling the CADJPY. I had noticed the uptrend, but also that price was consolidating right below a resistance line that coincided with a gap. The stochastics were high but crossing downwards, suggesting a change in the upward momentum. The ...

Closed this out. Didn't like the amount of upper wicks that were formed and the fact that it was taking so long to cross that line. image

Buying the NZD/JPY. On Sunday's open I saw a gap up after an engulfing bullish candle with the MAs converging and about to cross up, and the stochastics showing strong upward momentum. I woke at 3 and bought in while the candle was still bullish ...
