Can someone tell me what caused the news spike at 9am please? I was aware of CHF news going on but have yet to see any reports of what caused it. I WAS up for the day and now will spend it getting profits back haha! Win some you lose some.

Ok didn't see a 'release' that moment as such. Thanks markets do what markets do ay haha.

Can anyone tell me what that random spike on £ yen was 9.20am? took me out and had to re enter my long. Furious but lack of warning haha!

My view is bullish background, fake break of previous low with high stopping volume at low. Floated up with low volume so lack of sellers and passed the 14 ema. Also lined up with information from DXY, EUR, and not quite AUD. There remains a good ...

Last 5min Very high volume, if I was in an open trade I would look to take some profits and reduce risk partially due to time of day. Depending on open price obviously.

Seems my morning analysis was correct all the way thus far, not interested in anything except knowing I am improving my ability to read and work with what the charts tell me. So today feels like a win for my journey. There will be wrong ...

Price bounced off S/R from Mid September and a fib zone from the small down move. I still have a long opinion at this moment, Will continue to look for No supply on 5 min candle on retrace. Would have likely taken 1 min no supply candles from ...

Still waiting on 5min no supply confirmation. May see further break to S/R 15 pips away. Volume suggests smart money support to upside still currently. Unless a lot of people had buy orders ready past the 61.8 at no S/R level for some reason. Enough ...

No supply area forming here. The no demand areas are supported by low volume, the no supply areas are supported by high volume. I'd prefer to trade with high order/Bank banking then retail.

Largest volume of session both times just past 61.8 retracement. Always possible it will break but still waiting for highest probability long entry. Need sellers to dry up and buyers to start feeling confident. Possible one more retest, Smart money ...

Highest volume of session not at open but at bottom of the fib. Signs of no supply on 1min TF after, if i was traded aggressively I would place a buy with SL 10-15 pips beyond the low for room for fake out. Conservatively I shall wait for a 5 min no ...

If I get signal for upmove I shall watch the reaction at this zone, high volume will make me reduce risk and move to BE.

Low volume for time of day, price sitting at 61.6 fib. Big money does not seem to have placed any positions or price would have moved down to next SR zone. They would not sell at the bottom or on the way in a downmove and let it sit there. Retail ...

I'll wait for london open, price matches up with both fib and SR area for me. Also acting as I planned for a fake head and shoulders pattern break or potential ABC pattern. Would provide the most sellers for big money to get more longs for the ...

Ok makes sense thanks. Also my job is not 9-5 it's 2 weeks on 2 weeks off on call as emergency service. So 2 weeks at a time I can dedicate every hour. The other I may be free the entire time or hounded so it is a hard balance. I think swing trading ...

Hi T, Just a couple question's when you get the chance. I've done 500 miles since Friday working so haven't had a chance to start reading all the pdf's. So just to clarify you you look for opportunities in which time frame exactly. Start in 8hr then ...

I do love GBP/USD as its my base currency and it's always fairly exciting. But as a new trader is there any pairs anyone can recommend that are more stable in their movements and trade well in London or NY open? Also I'm at the stage now where I've ...

I've decided GBP has turned into a crypto coin at this point bordering on a meme coin.

So i was late to the party today as working and using phone which I don't usually do. The pepperstone ctrader app is very awkward to set TP and SL. Anyway I noticed we are in unknown territory, and that that bull spike heavily respected the 50 fib. ...
