      feeling a bit anxious as I have never experienced the impact of a shutdown and do not know the effect it has on currencies. Can anyone who has this experience tell us what to expect

      If not for this shutdown thing and with a less than expected figure the aud would have gone down by at least 50 pips. So a miss of an expected figure is still bad regardless whether it is above 50.

      Thks spartan, I will be off to bed as soon as my H4 tf closes in 10 mins. Won't be watching. Euro not going anywhere, reckon they are waiting for europe and london to sell it down in the first hour or so

      Yes you are quite right. H1 can never be decisive for 100pips or more but for 30-50 pips H1 is pretty good. Anyway I see this candle which I highlighted

      Price has already broken last wk low. In the next 10mins or so if H1 closes below this level I see more downside. Will hsbc pmi help? image

      I just got this feeling that rba might say they will probably cut rate in dec. That's why I put on the daily chart earlier and have 2 shaded areas where I believe price will test But then came along a shutdown. WTF are we supposed to do?

      What about the Cny manufacturing pmi on Tues. Which is more important ? As far as I know this one traders look and not the hsbc. And we may get a decision to cut rate when RBA meet on 1st oct. Seriously thinking of another short
