Hi Feline, I think you have taken the original title a little too literally - the risk to reward is actually not too bad at all. The risk on each trade is actually minimal, and as I said above it would take a MASSIVE move OVERNIGHT - I'm talking ...

Brexit was not a Black Swan event. Trump becoming president was not a Black Swan event. These were real possibilities that we had forewarning of and time to prepare/position ourselves in (or out of) the market. I made some money with the Brexit ...

This will be the last post in this thread. The last two trades were a 0.5% loss (would have been nice to leave that GBPAUD short open for the brexit trade), and then a BE trade on the AUDCAD. Divergence P/L : +4.3%. 41 trades, W/L = 26/15 = 63.4% ...

Long AUDCAD M30 - possibly a little early on this one, as MACD hasn't turned yet

Short GBPAUD. I was staying out of diverging GPB trades until after the Brexit vote (have several trades on GBPUSD on two different brokers testing a hedging strategy anyway), and I also know I am very late to this trade. But this is training & ...

Short EURUSD. Would have liked to see perhaps one down candle before entering, but the retrace seems to be losing momentum, and I have a wider SL and TP on this one. EDIT: Currently about 0.3% in profit, but not able to monitor trade any longer, so ...

Short West Texas Oil. Probably a little tight on the stop... EDIT: Widened the SL out a little, it was a little choppy, at one point about 0.4% in profit, but came back to hit the stop at 0.9% loss. Not a good trade, lot size was too big, forcing ...

Short AUDHKD M30. EDIT: This one got stopped out pretty quickly at 0.5% loss, practically no time in the black at all... Divergence P/L to date: +5.7%. 39 trades, W/L = 26/13 = 66.7% win rate

I added another larger trade to the AUDCAD short when the first one was in profit, and the TP was hit (0.7% gain). I have just closed the original trade as well (0.5% gain), short of the original TP, and although I feel there is more downside ...

Short AUDCAD Daily. I don't usually trade this time frame, but set-up looks ok, trend down and it has already started to turn. Risk of 1.0% on this one due lot size, but will have time to monitor it too.

I stayed out of the market this morning, wanted to trade the NZD news, went better than I was expecting, but could not be at a computer at that time. No hidden divergence set-ups for me that I could see earlier either on other currencies. So back to ...

Cheers, have been happy with most of the trades, although I feel sometimes the SL/TP are just not quite right. I will no doubt start to get a better feel for levels off these divergence trades with more time.

Long AUDHKD. A little slower-moving, shall see how it progresses time-wise EDIT: Was very slow, initially into profit, then moved towards SL, then back into profit, quite choppy, and seemed to go past where the reason for taking the trade made ...

Short EURAUD M30. It has already turned back down, perhaps a little late on the entry though, but plenty of downside room if it breaks the 1.5200 level. EDIT: A little frustrating, I let this one run, was about 0.3% in profit, but I decided to give ...

Short EURCAD EDIT: This has good downside momentum, so moved to BE+3 and put in a TS, moving the TP further down. Dropped further, but then momentum started to slow, so coming into quiet trading hours I decided to take the 0.6% gain that was on the ...

Short CADJPY. A little wary of this one as the current retrace looks quite strong, may be a little early to jump in (and as I post this it is about 0.4% in loss) EDIT: This was looking a little too strong for my liking, was approaching the SL quite ...

Missed out on a few good JPY a couple of hurs ago as was working. Just seen a spike in the GBP, as well as the AUD after RBA annpuncement, so markets a little volatile. Only set-up I am willing to take: Short EURNZD H4 EDIT: Decided to close this ...

Long EURJPY on M30. This moved quickly towards the TP2 so I first moved SL to BE+3 and then I took profit a little later for a 0.4% gain, as momentum was slowing. Divergence P/L to date: +4.5%. 30 trades, W/L = 20/10 = 66.7% win rate

Long on Bund. This was not a good trade, in the sense that I did not do enough reaserch, otherwise I would have realised that this "commodity" did not trade within certain hours. I will, however, keep to the trade. EDIT: It went against me to start ...
