Sounds very sensible - not that one would expect anything else from Tim Morge

I think this is a great comment. I see lots of sliding parallels being drawn - they look great in hindsight - I draw a sliding parallel off this point and get all these touches on the line and could have entered and made lots of pips etc etc. But ...

Given this thread is about learning I thought I'd post a link to this video by Shane of Market Geometry. The video has nothing to do with forks, support, resistance, entries or exits - its about how to structure one's learning and how to observe ...

Hi Winston - could you explain your thinking for selling where you did - On the chart you posted I see price making higher highs and higher lows - what am I not seeing that you are? Thanks B.

Thanks for the charts steve - great work and very clear. I'd only really thought about this in terms of large traders accumulating positions but exiting positions may well require similar manipulation in order to get the price they want. Thanks for ...

Couple of 15 min EURUSD charts - I'm at home today so won't be about much and I'm on my laptop which, with a different size screen to my regular computer, means I often see things differently or see different things. Anyway I'd be looking to see ...

Is it not also true that the smart money is not always all in agreement and a tight range may suggest just such a scenario, an inability to push the market to run stops. I found some nice lines I could have entered off last Friday url - I didn't ...

Marked the bars I was referring to on the chart below - the first seems to take price to the top of its previous range - the second breaks above prior highs (resistance) - so that might be something I'd keep an eye on - does resistance become ...

This isn't a market I trade but I just had a quick look at this and can't see that I'd have found a way to enter - at least not with limit orders which is what I use. There are two sharp moves higher on that chart - what Tim Morge calls wide range ...

Nice trade - I was wondering about the orange lines on your chart and how they are drawn. Are they more art than science?

I think it might be of some use if you want to trade short time frames - on a chart of 5 minute bars you get long periods (overnight) when price does very little but it still prints lots of bars - tick charts eliminate this and so can make structure ...
