If I ever found an EA that was good enough to run 24/7 and trade without being monitored I'd have to eliminate that problem with a VPS with multiple backups.

It doesn't matter which chart you use, you just wait for the price to cross 1.**50 then place orders at the 1.**15 and 1.**85 with a TP at 1.**00 and SL at 1.**50. no indicators required just place the orders and wait for the trade.

It figures I go over to cable and get another bad trade and the Euro closes positive in less than 15 min.
Oh well off to reset my trades, I's staying with cable the whole day.The Scalpers Dream

Post 40 in this thread has all the details for an EA, and I attached a screen shot that shows how an EA would trade this system. Basically crossing 1.**50 would arm the EA, then a trade would be placed long at 1.**85 or short at 1.**15 with a TP at ...

Had a rough day yesterday with the Euro so I think I'm going to trade some cable today, it already looks more lively than the Euro. GL everyone.

Your orders are correct, at this point the 1.4000 is in play and when the price goes to 1.3950 or 1.4050 you would place the 1.4000 order. BTW, if you're using your full margin check the margin calculator because the higher the price the higher the ...

I've had a couple offers but with the parameters I want(see post 40 in this thread) the cost is too much at the moment but if it keeps working for a couple more weeks without much draw-down I'll definitely get one made. I could probably have it made ...

Usually I'll take it when the price goes over 40, but 37 is close enough for me since I'm up. I use 50 because it's the center-point between trades, actually you could replace it whenever you think that the market is losing momentum and ready to ...

I'd have to agree with Bobcat2 and Dreamliner, a momentum indicator will only tell you where the momentum was in the past but not when it will end and not what it will do in the future. The reason this is working so well is because it doesn't ...

Got that one too which puts me at 15w/3L
and the 3rd loss was because I didn't delete pending orders and the market opened with a wild swing and huge margins which hit my entry and SL in less than an hour

I do good during the Asian session. I know it's not a proven system yet, but it has shown promise and I did the back test manually using Oanda's platform data and it was limited to 3 weeks. If it ever makes it to the point where it gets put into an ...

I just learned a costly lesson. Do not leave any pending orders over the weekend the combination of chaos at the open and high margins cost me to lose a trade. Oh well live and learn. All future orders are Good till Friday, then place them again on ...

That's just my opinion, because I know it's possible because if you're using a micro account or individual units at OANDA, using 95% of my account as margin, 5% is only 14 pips on Euro. What's that one or 2 decent trades a day, sure it requires the ...
