Embry1 replied Sep 8, 2017I don't know about you guys but my tokyo session was killer, everything hit TP. So far the H4 baskets are all out performing everything else consistently which makes sense being that I have 3 opening times during the day for the H4 basket and two ...

Embry1 replied Sep 7, 2017I've created a manual only trade explorer as a competition against myself. Since I have all of these robots doing all the trading for me it makes me very bored during the day so I will compete against myself to try and out trade my own EAs. Today ...

Embry1 replied Sep 7, 2017Weekly didn't like the action today but everything else did. I still think most of these strategies win more than they lose which is great. I still have some baskets not open on LO for some reason, and that sometimes skews results on days like today ...

Embry1 replied Sep 7, 2017Here is a screenshot of the setup. It's not just one basket, it's a combination of settings.

Embry1 replied Sep 6, 2017Pretty good day for the weekly and monthly baskets I'd say.
CCFp weekly signals (set and forget basket trading)

Embry1 replied Sep 6, 2017Same, surprisingly enough my weekly basket has been the most consistent with the end result, but not the most consistent with drawdown. I always have to eat a bunch of drawdown before it crawls out of it. This time could have been a fluke with the ...

Embry1 replied Sep 6, 2017What a bummer, baskets were looking really good until CAD hit. I think a good rule of thumb is to just not trade those pairs during news, it goes against you more times than it helps you. This week in general has been a mess from all the major news ...

Embry1 replied Sep 5, 2017I run PIF's strategy with EQB on all baskets and it's green today about 200 pips, but again it's using D1 and W1 so it will inevitably have red days.

Embry1 replied Sep 5, 2017Today was actually the first day for my H4 timed baskets that will end in red, but it's not too bad. I am probably going to cut out 04:02, i didn't expect it to do well and it didn't. I have found however that the basket that has Allow New Trades ...

Embry1 replied Sep 4, 2017The calendar this week is absolutely packed with red news. Rates everywhere starting with AUD tonight, the question is of course is to include the pairs or to exclude. For testing purposes including would be the only way to find out which is better ...

Embry1 replied Sep 4, 2017So the 16:02 basket hasn't closed, but as I mentioned earlier it has proven to be the weakest link so I am going to test 04:02 instead. So the lineup for the Strength H4 timed basket will be 00:02, 04:02, 08:02, and 12:02. Here are the results from ...

Embry1 replied Sep 4, 2017I'm sorry my server is set to GMT +3 which I believe is accurate for the NY close during daylight savings. That's the time frame you want. However I still calculate my time based on GMT so 08:02 is still GMT time or 1 hour after London open.

Embry1 replied Sep 4, 2017GMT. I always calculate from GMT, luckily my broker does too. 12:02 just closed with a max gain of 189 pips and profit locked at 105 pips, not bad. 16:02 just opened and usually this is the weakest link so we shall see how it goes.

Embry1 replied Sep 4, 2017So I ran demos today just for the sake of testing. As you might imagine, most baskets are red. Monday and holiday doesn't seem to mix well. I didn't trade live because I kinda figured it would be like this. However, my Strength H4 baskets are still ...

Embry1 replied Sep 4, 2017I agree that NZD has been a big offender, but I've had some good winners from NZD too. I'd say overall my worst currency has been CHF. Definitely going to watch them as we continue to test, I would hate to exclude a currency completely but if it ...

Embry1 replied Sep 2, 2017Very nice analysis. I just went through my reports as well and I'm seeing a pattern of CHF and NZD pairs being the sore spot. This question would go out to FxMadness or Xmess. Obviously the CCFp-Diff indicator has the ability to not trade certain ...

Embry1 replied Sep 1, 2017You started it at 16:00 GMT, I did 4 total baskets for strength H4 today and the 16:00 GMT one finished down 92 pips which isn't horrible but it was most certainly the weakest. I ran one at 00:00, 08:00, 12:00, and 16:00 and 3/4 were profitable for ...
