Congratulation! I celebrate with you today as well. Reached an equity high where I wasn't for quite some years and I am not even as leveraged as I was in the past. Very nice.. Basically doubled my account again! Yay! Now rinse and repeat..something ...

How about just accepting what happened? How about just accepting yourself anyway even with this? All is well, no big deal. You are on your way to live the success you already are. Imagine that, feel that..and just relax into it. And the current ...

What's funny is that you don't need to become succesfull. You already are everything you ever wanted to be. It's more like Allowing yourself to be that success you dream about. It's not much about words..there's a difference between "becoming" ...

I guess you won't see the data, might be just his assumption. Funny is that his signature says "Manage your losses first, your winning positions will manage themselve", nothing about spread. So it's either about spread or losses for him, can't be ...

I already wrote I understand the leverage advantage. The way you wrote it before looked like there's some other positive that's why I asked.

I see it as a matter of focus and ability to concentrate on the outcome while being able to maintain balance. Like walking a rope across the grand canyon. Impossible? Not anymore, there are people who did that. Extremely difficult/challenging/or ...

Just my guess against yours but being a professional poker player you will over time face the best and only one can win. Like in a fight, there you actually might have a draw as well. While in trading..you just join the winning side and you don't ...

Fair enough, glad to have this discussion going. As I wrote this yesterday I actually realized I kind of remembered what it was couple years ago and didn't notice that things are different now. Great to know there are tighter spreads in FX now, so ...

Did you read what I wrote at all? Why should I consider your scenario when I have my own years of data? And I can't say I had an edge back then.

Congrats. Didn't took the trade eventhough I was considering it, but the volatility was too much for me, plus it didn't provide me some nice entry so decided to let it be. Would be nice trade but I feel good about doing what I did.

Being realistic? That's a good one Tim. You never know what happens. And as somebody already wrote, there will be setbacks. Respect is a good thing. Without that, it gets costly. Sooner or later market will teach you being humble. And then again. ...

That's just not true. At least not in my case. It will affect daytrader or scalper doing zilions of trades and/or targeting just couple pips, but when the spread & commision is just a fraction of SL/T it won't matter much. It's not meaningless but ...
