johto replied Nov 24, 2008Hello. I dont have targets "per day". I use risk management per trade(about 1% risk). I dont believe daily profits. Peter said the most common limiting thing is to see trading as "job" that "pays daily". I try not to overtrade. Here's something ...

johto replied Nov 24, 2008My only dilemma is the overall risk/profit ratio in the long term. If i understand Peters posts, he recommend to let the "free trades" run as long as they will and adjust the stop only on the longer time frames(daily) exaple with 20 sma. Letting ...

johto replied Nov 24, 2008Thats what i'm talking about. You have your "day open" wrong. DIBS day open is marked with 6gmt price. You make your decisions based on that horizontal line which tells you if you are up or down. Again, when peter is talking about "day open" he ...

johto replied Nov 24, 2008Yes, but you open positions before 6gmt. Dibs trading starts after 6gmt. Even if you use the ib's before 6gmt. The point is to wait for london opening (big money)... Btw, today seems pretty choppy. Lost already couple trades. Good thing not much ...

johto replied Nov 22, 2008Yes, that bolded text just told the same thing i did. I dont see what is confusing about it? You either buy or sell depending which side you are from the 6mgt bar's close price. Notice, that this "intraday trend" could change during the day which ...
