That's what puzzles me when traders debate about demo vs live trading and the emotions. I value my time and energy invested whether I use the demo or live account. I can never get back the time (investment) lost and that's what makes me see the demo ...
The brutal truth of day trading
- Pumi replied Sep 22, 2021
I think a traditional price action trader would have known in advance in this scenario - the HTF is saying price is in the zone where support could turn into resistance and in the LTF price is near a zone where also support could turn into ...
Order Block Theory - Institutional Trading Method

I think at least be fair to other Price Action traders by showing the full picture (the Context) as to why that pattern wouldn't even been considered by such traders... Edit: The Pin Bar, Candlestick patterns, Patterns, etc are all Signs or Signals. ...

@Mike... Always watch-out of the Railway Tracks. You can find good Order Blocks there and the pattern is also known as a reversal pattern (Steve Mauro, BTMM, also mentions it).

Consider what the market does over a period of a week (what BW showed us on several posts). You might want to stick to 2/3 days on some pairs. Perhaps Steve Mauro (BTMM) might have a point on the Market Maker Cycle.
It Doesn't Smell Right

I think one of the reasons is that those pairs are good for day-trading. Another reason is the ADR. Just like Gold those pairs can increase your account fast just as it can also wipe it off fast. Good pairs to day-trade but I wouldn't recommend for ...
Price action at the core = family members' discussion project

If you study Order Blocks more you will find that not all Order Blocks have the same strength or weight (some are weaker). You will know which one has a higher probability to be respected and the one that is highly likely to be violated. That is all ...

From the point of view of the time-frame you are looking at it is not a breaker block. If you look at your second circle and zoom to the LTF you have a bearish order block and that is what the price is reacting to - those who bought the Support are ...

Thanks BW. I just saw your reply (it was a long day at work). Let me chew on it later. It's very much appreciated.

Thanks Steve and ITB for your response. Yesterday I just watched, again, ICT's 2016 Mentorship video (month 4 - Reinforcing Liquidity Concepts and Price Delivery) and thought it would be nice to have your views considering that price seems to be ...

Steve, from your point of view which time-frame gives a better view of a Low Resistance at the moment on the GU? Or what do you think is the target - where price is heading (say from H4 to HTF and lets forget about the LTF)? Do you think it will go ...

After spending some time I came to a conclusion that the Targets theory just covers everything (from break of market structure, support and resistance, orderblocks, supply and demand, etc). The added extra about it is liquidity and the psychology.

It's nice to see that you are also using trend-lines and reverse trend-lines mix with the SMC.

I can partly answer to the last part - go to the 30 minute time-frame and look at the price action from the consolidation and the manipulation both in the larger consolidation and the smaller one (previous Asian range). You will also notice that ...

They say there's a consolidation and then after it is followed by a manipulation. After that you get an expansion. I think this is incorrect. A consolidation, accumulation, distribution, re-accumulation, re-distribution, trading range, or whatever ...

I concur. It is how ICT sees the world and unfortunately we don't all see it the same. Some can see it in a complex way and some in a simple way. Hence I took a step back from ICT's concepts. He is not presenting something new. Some of his concepts ...

It's also very important what Stevepatt has been emphasizing on - Context before anything else. One of the very good examples is post number 2729 ( url ). Thanks KevinZeng. There's a good entry after BOS and Stevepatt would have also highlighted for ...
