Hi Steve, We're not there yet. EA should be looking for a break of the low on this bar for a sell and it bought. I have it on 5M charts to get it to trade a lot.

Do we have any coders here? — Don't know if Steve is tied up with other projects. EA is not respecting the 50SMA. It should be only looking for buys above the 50SMA/sells below. It sold here above the 50 and also no trigger candle. Running on ...

Thank you for the indicator saintmo. I don't see any place in the properties to adjust candle body max. Some of those trigger candles on your chart have bodies more than 50% of the total candle length??? thanks

Steve, The bot was perfect the way you had it programmed except I'm looking for the EA to automatically set BE and TP as I described in my last post. By counting the candle length + spread + 1. If you can't do this can you post the original again. ...

Steve and review for everyone — The candle that is checked is a proper trigger candle. It happens to be 30 pips in total length. EA needs to count 30 + spread + 1 pip. So say the spread is 2. So 30 + 2 +1 =33. I need EA for this trade to set ...

Steve — Since you're still on here thought I'd mention this. The strategy calls for a full 1 pip break of the trigger candle. I'm trading 5 digits so I ignore any break that is less than a pip. I can probably adjust the code (haven't looked at ...

Possible new entry method — Steve, I PM'd you. If anyone is interested, and wants to do some testing for themselves, I'm doing some manual back testing on a simplified version of this strategy. Drop the MACD and the Stoch.Only look for a buy ...

I should have said post # 10. I'm looking at all pairs with a reasonable spread. EA will help decide most profitable pairs possibly but it should work on any pair.

I've been using the signal line. Seems to allow more trades than main line because of the lag. I don't think it matters too much which one you use as long as you see the pullback in the stoch. and then start looking for the trigger candle. In fact, ...

That would be a good trigger candle if it looks like that at the end of the 4HR bar. Then you'll need a break of the low of that candle within 3 bars to enter a sell. If Stoch moves below 60 by the time the break of low occurs, it's still ok to take ...

You've got it right! MACD above 0, stoch below 40. Break of trigger candle. Trigger candle short with small body.

Thanks much Steve. Let me know if you have any questions before you start. There are a couple of things that would be nice to have adjustable like the stoch. lines and candle length. Would be nice to be able to adjust the TP method to test whether ...
