FXPro down too? So is Dukascopy. I'm beginning to suspect some serious hacking crime going on. Probably from all those dodgy russian bucketshops. Bunch of criminals

Google usually helps
Here is the first link I got url The tutorial is for linux, but since linux and MacOS are cousins, it shouldn't make much if any difference to the result.Trading Platforms for Mac computers

Perhaps you could program your own EA to do so. Look in particular at martingale based EAs that obviously due to the nature of martingale trading, try to close all positions in profit often by setting the target point on all positions accordingly ...

Multi terminal isn't a solution for money managers. A properly set up PAMM system is far superior. However to easily trade multiple accounts it's ok. It's just the other aspects of money manager's work like profit sharing, fees etc... that remain a ...

FXDD is one of the dodgier market makers it seems. If you want to trade without problems or restrictions, go ECN. That's what I did. The grass really is greener over here!

FXDD screws up - AGAIN

$5 per side? Like $10 round turn? Not so good. Dukascopy, FXOpen, MB and pretty much everyone else have way lower commissions plus real interbank spread. FXCM's spread seems a tad high.

You need to use MT4 with an ECN broker. If you get off quotes or requotes errors on an ECN, just tell the broker they are liars and close your account. Those errors do not happen on a real ECN. They are Dealing Desk errors.

I guess you would have problems with slow execution
I don't think it is viable. When you go to a currency exchange, the spread can be upwards of 200-300 pips on eur/usd.Physical trading

Totally freezing on news release is a bucketshop trick. Trade with an ECN instead. You may get liquidity problems, or spread spikes but at least your platform will not freeze. I'm on an ECN on MT4 and I never get freezing or other dodgy problems.

It depends on their relationship with their prime broker. Perhaps they are only willing to aggregate 0.4 and up.

I think you need to just spread your trading around. There is no swiss army knife broker that can provide everything you are looking for in one convenient package.

Indeed. A dealing desk based Market Maker is just what has been described there. As is the earning from the spread markup. An ECN earns from commission with the interbank spread being passed on.

As far as I can tell, FXCM is a Market Maker. Nothing about their business model suggests otherwise.

I'd say the people who say that are nuts. The rest of us are not having a problem hedging and that FIFO nonsense.

Erm.. no. Leverage just affects the margin cost. Of course, you can trade 4 lots instead of 1 with the higher leverage, but if your money management scheme says trade 1 lot not 4, why would you do that? A $100k lot at 1:400 is the same per pip as ...
