Oanda — Oanda opened for business 30 mins ago, but none of their currency pairs have shown any movement, as well as weekend spreads still being in place, (GY = 50 pips). Seems the weekend data has thrown them too.

I know — Yea, true, but when you can see a 2-300 pip drop in price before the market opens, it's a pretty reliable indicator of things to come. I could not consider a long now after seeing that. I remember people scoffing when the Friday close ...

Really? — Really? 'cos my experience has been the exact opposite. I've been studying weekend data for the past 3-4 months and price has always reached the weekend quotes within the next trading week. Looks like the margin of victory is buoying ...

All agreed then — OK,so we're all agreed then, GY going down. I guess the smart money will take it higher then... lol. I'm very wary of trading the obvious. Not saying I'm contrarian, because i'm not particularly, but if more downside looks so ...

Psycho stuff — Bears expecting a drop back? Bulls thinking here we are again? Newbies thinking wtf is happening now? A few thoughts: ES double top formed..... (maybe), but will know more after the open. GY retraced to 38% fibo from the week's ...

4hr 50ema — Will be very interesting if price reaches here (Currently 154.30 ish). The 50ema on the 4hr TF often proves to be very powerful. Look at a 4hr chart and this rise is not out of the ordinary at all. In fact it could simply be seen ...

Yes, but.... — It is, but there is an obviouis disconnect between the Yen carries and indices at the moment. It could be that any risk aversion is more obvious in FX and the indices have yet to catch up. I'm watching for signs of distribution ...

It's not age dependant though is it.? How old do you think these hot shit traders in London are? From reading your posts I can see you have the maturity needed to trade F/T. The only 2 things postponing this are possibly your bank and your ...

not for me — A short is as risky as a long for me right now. We're down for sure it seems, but a short term 200 pip spike up should not be ruled out. I'm flat now.

Maybe — Ya know what, I'm inclined to agree with you. More down-moves are expected pretty much by everyone and that would be too easy. I see higher, maybe not 159, but back to 156-7 would not surprise me. We'll see.

lol — Or you need to change what you're doing? Your analysis has been correct, you just need to trust it now. At the very least, set your stop to b/e +1 when in profit. Or close half when at +10 and let the rest ride.

153 — There's still some quite significant support just above 153. I, think this will break, but not without fake bounces etc. I'm playing a scalp range at the moment, but am ready for a rapid fall when 153 breaks convincingly.
