JR97 replied Feb 12, 2009I looked into it about 5 years ago. It's ok, but I wouldn't exactly call it geometry. More like very short term trend lines. Like 1-3 bars. Like anything, there's value there if you adhere to the rules and manage your risk properly.

JR97 replied Feb 12, 2009Exited all 4 entries at 127.60. Time is almost up and the consolidation looks like it absorbed a lot of the energy. Made good pips, but there is divergence against on my hourly. Price is at cycle lines on two different 4 hour charts.

JR97 replied Feb 11, 2009A couple of possibilities on the geppy. Two squares of different sizes and origins. I"ve got a tiny position on now with orders set to trigger to the downside. Could be choppy getting there if it gets there at all.

JR97 replied Feb 11, 2009Great post Rabid. In my research and work, what I've discovered is that things like Brownian Motion, sub-atomic particles etc... they're all described from a three dimensional point of observation. Hence apparent randomness. (I built an entire ...

JR97 replied Feb 11, 2009Brilliant! I'm not being sarcastic here. Finally a post that isn't about squiggly lines and making millions in their demo account. Particles in motion DO have order. Deterministic order. Cyclical order. By viewing a price chart as a 2 dimensional ...

JR97 replied Feb 11, 2009Good question. I haven't even looked at the geppy since last night and I'm probably done trading for the week, so who knows. My target was hit and that's all I was looking for. Also, I swore off trading this pair ever again a few months ago. But I ...

JR97 replied Feb 11, 2009Most recent ellipse is identical in size to the previous red ellipses, but different in angle. The angle to the previous ellipse isn't as harmonic which leads me to believe that the larger structure is now rotating. Just fyi, I don't use ellipses ...

JR97 replied Feb 11, 2009Price hit the 1x1 target line and is showing a slight reversal to the bar on the time line. I didn't get all of it, but enough of it to put a big poop eatin' grin on my face. I nailed both tops and had quite a few add ons, but trailing stops kicked ...

JR97 replied Feb 10, 2009Updated chart. All red are identical in size and angle. Yellow are identical in size and angle. Walking sequences like these don't last forever. So it enjoy them while they do. (There's actually a larger structure at play and once it's fulfilled ...

JR97 replied Feb 9, 2009Even though I watch astro stuff, I do not believe that sun/moon gravitational pull or any astro sign or aspect "controls" anything market related. While I find the relationship to be correlative, I don't buy into the cause-effect relationship. I ...

JR97 replied Feb 9, 2009It's called geometry. No need for abstract mathematics.
